Meet for an hour with your coach to discuss your growing space, available time, favorite foods, gardening knowledge, and establish attainable goals
You'll receive a report with your planting diagram and schedule that includes the best plants to grow in your space to feed your soul and your belly; maintenance guide; a tools and supplies list; and other recommendations for how to get your space ready for gardening. In this active learning session, we'll plant your spring garden as I talk you through how to seed, transplant, and tend to each plant variety. After session two, you're off and growing!
Follow the weekly garden task checklist to keep your plants healthy. Spend relaxing time in the garden being curious and dreaming. Don’t forget to write down the wins and joys that you find in the garden: cute little sprouts! Your first homegrown salad!
-
Session three will take place soon after our average last frost date, so it will be safe to plant tomatoes, peppers, squash, and other warm-weather plants. After answering your questions, I'll talk with you about the nutrients plants need to thrive and the best way to harvest them for maximum production.
-
Take good notes about your struggles or any questions you have to discuss in session four. Then you'll learn the basics of avoiding pests, diseases, and other garden challenges, and develop a plan to tackle any issues that you may be facing.
